Need help asap

I was given an alcatel one touch pixi avion as a hand me down from my older brother well I turned on the lock screen and then changed my mind and decided I didn't want the lock screen on but it wont let me shut it off now. I don't want to factory reset my phone but im worried thats how its gonna have to be. Please someone help me if there is another way to fix it.

I think it could be somthing wrong wit my DSL conn. But now it seems ok
