POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE CONSIDERING ANOTHER PROVIDER

DECEMBER 21ST I CALLED ABOUT THE SPECIAL OFFER $440 FOR 1 YEAR AND GETTING A SIM CARD ORDERED. TOLD THE REP. WHAT PHONE I HAVE AND SENT ME A SIM FOR $8.42. THE REP STATED THAT AS SOON AS I GET THE SIM CARD AND I CALL I COULD HAVE $440 OFFER.

DECEMBER 24TH RECEIVED THE SIM CARD WAS THE WRONG SIZE SIM CARD FOR MY PHONE. GOT ON THE WEBSITE AND ORDERED THE CORRECT SIZE SIM MYSELF FOR $8.42.

COUPLE DAYS LATER RECEIVED THE 2ND SIM ATTEMPTED TO ACTIVATE IT OVER THE PHONE WOULDN'T WORK ENDED UP SPENDING MANY HOURS ON THE PHONE ATTEMPTING TO ACTIVATE THIS SIM CARD HAD MULTIPLE TICKETS OPEN AND COULDN'T GET IT ACTIVATED.

FINALLY AFTER A LONG FEW WEEKS OF WAITING WITH NO RESOLUTION I MADE A TRIP TO WALMART AND BOUGHT AN ACTIVATION KIT WITH ONE MONTH OF STRAIGHT TALK AND A NEW SIM I CAME HOME ACTIVATED IT MYSELF ON THE COMPUTER ALL GOOD

CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE
ME: WOULD LIKE TO GET THE ORIGINAL OFFER OF $440 FOR ONE YEAR. I AM SURE YOU CAN SEE A RECORD OF WHERE I PLACED THE ORDER. THE REP. TOLD ME I COULD GET THE $440 OFFER ONCE I HAVE THE SIM CARD ACTIVATED ON THE PHONE.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: NOPE SORRY WE SEE WHERE YOU HAD ORDERED THE SIM BACK IN DECEMBER AND WAS GOING TO SIGN UP FOR THAT OFFER BUT ITS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

ME: HOW ABOUT A REFUND ON THE SIM CARDS YOU SENT ME THAT DID NOT WORK
CUSTOMER SERVICES: NO SORRY WE CAN NOT PROVIDE A REFUND ON SIM CARDS

ITS ALMOST LIKE STRAIGHT TALK CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HALF OF THE TIME WHAT YOU ARE SAYING MOST LIKELY DUE TO THE LANGUAGE BARRIER. ALTHOUGH ONE GUY DID LAUGH AT ME WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND ON THE SIM CARDS. WELL DAMN IT ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU SENT ME THE WRONG SIZE SIM CARD AND THEN A SIM CARD THAT DOESN'T I WANT MY MONEY BACK EVEN IF IT IS $8.42 X2. PRETTY PISSED OFF ABOUT NOT GETTING THE ORIGINAL OFFER THAT I WAS PROMISED $440 FOR ONE YEAR. I CANT GET A REFUND ON SIM CARDS THAT DON'T WORK BS. TOO TOP IT ALL OFF I HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO MAKE CALLS NOW BUT NO TEXTING OR DATA SERVICE. WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY DATA AND TEXTING WASN'T WORKING TOLD ME TO WAIT AND CHECK BACK LATER.

IN MY OPINION THIS IS VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I PLAN ON POSTING MY EXPERIENCES WITH STRAIGHT TALK ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, AND MANY OF THE OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES I HAVE ACCOUNTS WITH. IF A RESOLUTION IS PROVIDED AT A LATER DATE I WILL FOLLOW UP ANY POSTING WITH THE RESOLUTION. IF NO RESOLUTION ONCE MY AIRTIME RUNS OUT GOODBYE STRAIGHT TALK.

THANK YOU JEAN FOR THE CHAT LINK. AFTER A LONG CHAT WITH A REPRESENTATIVE THEY ARE FORWARDING THESE ISSUES TO THE ESCALATIONS DEPARTMENT. HOPEFULLY I WILL HAVE EVERYTHING RESOLVED SOON. LEARNED A VALUABLE LESSON I WILL USE THE FORUM HERE FOR ANY FUTURE CUSTOMER SERVICE MUCH BETTER RESPONSE ON THE CHAT SERVICE. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SIM CARD OVER THE PHONE OR THROUGH THE WEBSITE WILL BUY ALL FUTURE SIMS FOR WHICHEVER COMPANY I AM WITH THROUGH AN ACTIVATION KIT AND DO ALL THE ACTIVATION STUFF MYSELF. NO RESPONSE FROM THE ESCALATIONS DEPARTMENT

THE PHONE WAS ABLE TO MAKE PHONE CALLS BUT CANNOT SEND/RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES OR USE THE DATA CONNECTION

WAS ON THE PHONE TWICE WITH TECH SUPPORT WHO STATED THERE IS AN ERROR SHOWING UP ON THEIR END IN THE SYSTEM AND THEY CANT FIGURE IT OUT

TECH SUPPORT IS SENDING ME OUT YET ANOTHER SIM CARD SO THIS WILL BE SIM CARD NO. 4 LOL

TODAY THE PHONE STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER SAYS SIM CARD NO LONGER PROVISIONED GUESSING THEY ACTIVATED THE SERVICE ON THE NEW SIM CARD WITHOUT ME RECEIVING IT FIRST

LUCKILY I HAVE A BACK UP STRAIGHT TALK PHONE THAT I ACTIVATED A 30 DAY PLAN ON FOR $45 USING MY OWN MONEY WITH A TEMPORARY NUMBER

HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY COMPENSATION OFFER OF ANY KIND

WOULD BE NICE AFTER ALL THE TIME SPENT ON THE PHONE AND IN THE CHAT IF SOMEONE ACTUALLY PROVIDED DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. A SIMPLE HEY I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING ALL OF THESE ISSUES HOW ABOUT WE GIVE FREE SERVICE MONTHS TO COVER YOUR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES SUCH AS:

THE ORIGINAL OFFER AT $440 WHICH IS A DIFFERENCE OF $55 FROM THE ORIGINAL $495
PURCHASING 2 SIM CARDS AT $8.42 A PIECE
3RD SIM CARD BOUGHT IN STORE WITH A 30 DAY $45 ACTIVATION CARD FOR $60
ACTIVATING SERVICE ON ANOTHER DEVICE $45

FOR A TOTAL OF $131.84 MORE THAN WHAT I HAD EXPECTED TO PAY AT THIS POINT

TIRED OF TALKING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ON PHONE OR IN CHAT THAT DOESN'T REALLY SEEM TO CARE WHEN YOU BRING UP THESE ISSUES AND SAY SORRY THERE IS NOTHING ADDITIONAL THAT I CAN DO

IN SEARCH OF NEW SERVICE FOR 2 LINES FROM ANOTHER COMPANY AT THIS POINT ONCE MY CURRENT AIRTIME PURCHASED EXPIRES AND IT WILL NOT BE WITH NET10 TRACFONE OR ANY OF THE OTHER STRAIGHT TALK SISTER COMPANIES

SINCE ESCALATIONS CANT OR WONT CALL ME I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH

STRAIGHT TALK HAS BBB SPECIALIST'S HERE IN THE U.S. AND WHEN YOU FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY BBB SPECIALIST IN THE U.S.

WILL FILE A BBB COMPLAINT TOMORROW WILL POST MY RESULTS ONCE THEY CONTACT ME

New LG sunrise says sim not provisioned mm2 been dealing with the issue for 12 hours, havent got to use my phone yet
