screen white

I purchased my motorola back in August (silver black about 38 dollar phone) and today the screen has gone total white. I can call and receive calls, but can't see number on phone or text. I tried turning off, removing battery, ect. nothing works. Any idea what to do? I cannot even see my contacts or anything, hate to lose these.
