This must be why my Verizon backed ST phone does not allow for roaming so when I travel to Pacific County Washington, I lose all service, my phone is bascially dead in the water and useless. Straight Talk sends me texts constantly to update my roaming, but the truth is with a ST phone, you get no roaming. :(

Both my son and I have a samsung R451C with the cdma area using verizon towers in northwest montana. A friend of ours is a verizon subscriber and he can get out in areas we cannot, why is that? I programmed the phone using the * 8890 *73 and it still does not work in that area. What can i do to get coverage in these areas? is it the phone? or does verizon lock us out of certain areas? does verizon still use digital and analog in remote areas? and if so does straight talk offer a phone that will utlilize both? thanks Greg

Hi greg. My name is StraightTalk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. CDMA coverage by Straight Talk is provided on Verizon's Prepaid Non-Roaming Network only that is why you have limited coverage. Thanks!

Is there no way to zoom in or view a more complete picture of coverage? This small map with light green blobs isn't helpful at all. I am trying to figure out if I can get the new unlocked Google Galaxy Nexus in my area but every picture I have seen of the coverage is this same small shot.

Kind of leery about posting my full address but I live in Knox, IN 46534 that should be plenty right?

the service area map link shows that this coverage map is for non-android phones only. will i be able to get a straight talk ATT compatible sim from you guys and use a galaxy note from ATT and get the non-android coverage area?

people on other forums say i could.

Hi theriddler????. My name is StraightTalk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. As long as it is an AT&T, T-Mobile compatible GSM phone or an unlocked domestic GSM phone, it will work with the BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) Program. To view program, please visit www.straighttalkSIM.com. Thanks!
