I have ST Home phone plan. Recently I was informed that I needed to update my device if I wanted to continue to use the service as it did not support VOLte. I was offered a deal so I took it and upgraded. New device was activated and all was well until someone from my home tried to call me on my Boost Mobile phone (which I have had for 2 years and have always been able to receive calls from ST home phone) and the number would not go through. They got the message "Welcome to Verizon, we are sorry, the number you have called has calling restrictions on it that have prevented the completion of your call - Message 19, location 115207.
I was told about this when I returned home so, to be sure, I called the number myself and got the same message. I called several other numbers and all of the rest went through. I double checked my Boost mobile phone to make sure that I had not some how accidentally blocked my own home number, and I had not. But here's the odd thing. I called my ST phone from my Boost phone and the call went through fine. Talked for a minute and then we hung up. I then had Wife call me back from ST phone and it went right through. We tried several more times that night and all calls went through fine. Issue resolved, or so I thought. 2 days later she tried to call me again and same issue all over again. She had to call my sister and get her to tell me to call her. After we talked I asked her to call me back in 5 minutes and, sure enough, call went through fine.
I called ST customer service and they said this is a Boost Mobile problem but I don't think so. This started right after I upgraded my home unit with ST. and the best I've been able to find out is that the message that comes up is a Verizon location calling restriction. In other words ST/Verizon thinks my Boost mobile number is out of the area. That's just what I think. I admit I can't find enough info online to argue the fact. I'm hoping someone on the forum can help me. Odd that this is the only number I can't call (so far).
