Refurbed E5 sim card registration failed!

Hello, Thursday I activated my refurbished Nokia E5 following the instructions for porting an old number. However, two days later I'm still getting a "sim card registration" failed message and my straighttalk account says the phone is inactive. It won't let me use my time card to try to reactive it and I'm not paying more money for it to fail again. Since I have no phone to call customer service, I would appreciate help from this forum. The sim number and that on the sim card match. I imported my number from my previous provider but it was originally a number from a different provider (straight talk, actually) so maybe that is the problem?

my problem is the same except with my nokia 6790. i just got new SIM but registration fails..everytime i try to activate my service plans..used a new plan and ddint go through b/c of SIM..now the pin says already been used AHHHHHHHHH..

I also purchased a Nokia E-5 refurb. I tried to activate it on line but it gave me a message that I need to activate via phone. Called and they told me it would be activated within one hour. Phone just shows invalid SIM when I turn the phone on.
