I bought a Nokia E5 phone from the Wal-Mart on Indiantown Road in Jupiter, Florida on December 31, 2011. I want going to treat myself to a nice phone and a friend of mine had raved about Straight Talk. Keep in mind, if this woman didn't like something, the whole world would hear it.
I had owned several Nokias in the past and loved the phone. Everthing went smoothly, until one day when I put the phone on charge. It shut itself off and, consequently, the alarm did not go off in the morning, and I had to take the cover off the phone, took the battery out, waited a few minutes, put the phone back together. It turned back on --then the same thing happened two more times.
This morning, I received a phone call from my cousin about a death in our family, which means I need to leave town tomorrow at the latest. I got to work, after having made more phone calls -- keep in mind, I charge the phone daily - the phone shut itself down again, and remains that way now.
I emailed your company and got an automated response. Then, I went home for lunch and called from my home phone. I not only got two representatives whom I could not understand, but the second one, an Hispanic male, was so incredibly rude, that I cannot believe anyone would hire him -- claimed to be a supervisor. He told me that it would take 3-4 days to get a replacement phone -- keep in mind, I explained the death in the family and that I was going to have to travel -- he just went on and on about a whole lot of nothing and certainly NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I told him I would just return the phone to Wal-Mart, and he told me I could not do that. He said I would have to buy another phone and could not return the 2 month old phone.I am more than livid. I NEED A WORKING PHONE AND AM GETTING NO SUPPORT/HELP/CUSTOMER SERVICE from your company when I need it the most.
Why can I not return this phone??? What kind of people do this?? I NEED A PHONE TODAY AND DO NOT FEEL I SHOULD HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE AND TO WAIT 3-4 DAYS IS UNACCEPTABLE. If this were AT&T, I would have a new phone tomorrow morning.
