I always assumed these personal messages the reps are sending aren't really that helpful. Thanks for posting what they said. It should help future users.
What are your current APN settings for internet and mms?
Sorry for taking so long to reply, I am using the Nokia Access Point app to modify my APN settings. I have txt, voice and data but I still do not have MMS. Everytime I get to a CSR who reaches the limit of their knowledge (which is frequent) they send a canned msg along the lines of 'it is your device, not us' - which is total nonsense. Here are my APN settings:
CSR gave me these settings on 3/12/14 (any unmentioned fields are intentional as you should simply leave those fields blank/empty)
Edit internet APN
Edit MMS APN
Proxy Address: mms3.tracfone.com
Proxy Port: 80
MMSC Address: http://mms-tf.net
Network Type: IPv4
