Pair of Lumia 928s, no mms

As the title states, I have two Lumia 928 phones, freshly ported, which cannot use mms.

-the port is complete
-I have followed the steps given at activation...numerous times
-tried Nokia access point on one of the phones, this did not work

Help, please?
