Phone not sending SMS texts

I have the same problem and being told pretty much that I can't be helped with this issue which I have had since I got the phone over three weeks ago I am being told it may be the phone my daughter had the phone before me and she had no issues with it so its not the phone I am not receiving any incoming picture messages but I'm being told all my settings are correct I sent a message again two days ago and no reply can somebody help me with this issue I have never had an issue with straight talk until now when I am being.told I cannot be helped there has to be a setting that is incorrect
