The latest suggestion, that I turn off phone, remove battry, insert battery, turn on phone and send a text to myself still did not resolve my issue...

I am still unable to send text messages.
I have removed battery and texted myself.
I have checked that I have the correct message center number.
I've reset to factory settings.
Texting is my main for of communicating with my long distance boyfriend, and several days without the texted 'hugs' is driving me nuts! lol Please, are there any other suggestions before I have to look into buying my 4rd Straight Talk phone?
