i am having this same issue and really need help getting it taken care of

I live in Southern Illinois. I transfered my number today at 1:30 p.m. I am able to make phone calls and receive them. I can receive txt msg's, but I cannot send them. It comes up with something about message center. I dont know what I am suppose to do. Another thing... I can send audio and multimedia messages. This seems very strange.

I am using a nokia 6790 and have a similar issue. I can receive text messages and multimedia messages. I can send multimedia messages. I can NOT send standard text messages. Text messages when sent simply go to the outbox and are never sent. I have cleared all messages from phone, powered down etc. Is there any option other than restoring the phone to factory settings? Thank you for your help.
