Im also getting the same error with the phone i bought from someone

Hello, I am new to straight talk, I bought a used ZTE Merit and am trying to activate it, I placed sim in phone and when I turn it on it says SIM not provissioned MM#2, I tried to activate phone online and got this message "We are sorry, the Serial Number you entered is associated with another account or is already active. Please try again with a different serial number or log into "My Account."
PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THIS the lady I bought it from said she used it three months then got an iphone and said she deactivated this phone. I just dont understand why it will not activate
