I have the same problem. I called Straight Talk and after my settings were confirmed to be correct, was told to check Google and YouTube for a solution. Since I had already done that and found no working solution, I called Nokia. All I got from them was that my phone should be able to send and receive media messages and that I needed to call Straight Talk. I bought my AT&T Go Phone and ST sim card one week ago. Early this morning I received a Welcome text from ST (even though I had been using their service for the past week after porting over from Verizon), but there was no change in my inability to send/receive media messages. Can someone help me? Thanks!

I was sent a private message with a link to live chat. I entered into live chat and the rep ended the chat and said I needed to call and talk to someone. Been there, done that and it didn't solve my problem.

I called Saturday, spoke with a supervisor and followed his instructions. The end result was still the same, I am unable to send/receive MMS. I was told that the terms of my agreement did not guarantee that that I would have MMS. I asked why some with the exact same phone as me (Nokia Lumia 520, purchased as an AT&T GoPhone but never activated with them) were able to have the MMS capability and I was not. I've done hours and hours of research online and I know this phone is MMS capable on ST. But the the rep just kept repeating that the terms did not guarantee that it would work - he never gave me a good answer.

Apparently the bottom line is this: buying a Nokia Lumia 520 for ST is a lottery - even though all the phones are the same, some phones will have MMS and some won't. Just hope you're one of the lucky ones who gets a good phone because otherwise you'll have to switch service providers to get MMS.

We apologize for the trouble fmelish. Updating your APN settings does not guarantee MMS (Multimedia/Picture Messaging) will work. MMS is dependent upon your phone model's limitations. You may contact the phone's previous provider or manufacturer for additional information. Thanks.
