This is extremely frustrating since this is the second phone I have had trouble with.

Hello,

I am having the same problem as numerous others it seems. I just received my Nokia E5 from Straighttalk in the mail today. I noticed upon opening the box that my sim card was also not in the plastic holder but rather it was already in my phone. I installed the micro SD and battery and turned the phone on. It then informed me that the sim card was not valid. I took out and reinstalled the sim card to make sure it wasn't a mechanical error but alas it still is saying the same thing. The serial number on the actual sim card does not match the serial number on the back of the Red straighttalk instruction card that is paired with a serial number. I would like this to be resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible. I recently cancelled my service with my previous phone company to move to straighttalk and I am hoping this was not a judgment error on my part.

Thank you
Mckinlza

For 48 hours+ I have received the message: Sim card not valid. I noticed the sim numbers on the red activation card, and the sim card itself in the phone are not a match numerically. They tried activating it, with the same numbers, but to no avail.

Please help me. This is taking an awfully long time. I do not have access to a telephone, so pm'ing me or IM me to help me get this Nokia E5 activated. I got the 45 dollar plan when I ordered the phone.

Best regards,

Matthew (belnor1).

I received the Nokia E5 with Sim Card yesterday. It's 24 hours up to now and it keeps saying: "Sim Card not valid". I called to Straight Talk center twice and each time the phone system let me wait for ~ 20 minutes. Straight Talk, please fix this problem!!!

I just did the same thing with my Nexus 4. I activated the nano sim, when my phone uses a micro sim card
