Nokia Lumia 900

I recently purchased a Nokia Lumia 900 and looking forward to using it soon. My main question is that walmart still sells the micro sim card that is AT&T compatible, I was wondering if I buy that sim card from them and port my number from my current AT&T(straight talk sim) sim card will I be able to activate and use that sim in my new phone by porting the number? I already have a active sim card and working. Please respond asap. Thanks in advance.
