SIM card for e5

I accidentally put my Nokia thru the washing machine and was wanting to know if my contacts were still on my SIM card and if there was a way to get them off the SIM card to use them on my new phone? My new huawei ascend plus doesn't take a SIM card but I would like a print out at least. There was five years worth of contacts on my phone! Any help would be appreciated.
