Nokia E71 Sim card registrarion failed

I've had this phone for a few years and never had an issue with it. Due to unforseen financial issues, I had to stop putting time on the phone about 9 months ago. Tonight I tried to reactivate the phone through the straighttalk website. I paid the $45 for the unlimited card. and my account tells me the phone is active, yet where it asks what phone you want to activate, it won't let me choose my phone. The option is there, but I can not select it. I've tried restarting my phone and removing both the sim card and battery. Nothing is working.
