SERIOUS ISSUES WITH THIS NOKIA 6790 PHONE

I finally got the issue with my phone being unable to text AT ALL resolved, and now I am being attacked with a host of other issues: if i place or receive a phone call, the only way I am able to hear anyone on the other line is to use the speaker setting. I am not sure if there is some stupid setting somewhere that i am missing, or if the actual earpiece is damaged, but this is a VERY frustrating issue. I would like to know what I have to do to have this phone replaced, as it seems to be the direction I will have to go with it.

Worse still, I am unable to receive picture or text messages from my girlfriend. The one person I even bothered to get this phone for in the first place, is unable to communicate with me. And it's only her. Apparently this phone is unable to accept text messages from metro pcs servers? I need someone to help me solve these issues as soon as possible, as i feel like, at this point, I was cheated out of my money.

if we can get the messaging problem striaghtened out at the very least, that would be great. i suspect the other issue is a hardware problem and ill have to do a warranty replacement. but PLEASE try to get my messaging properly provisioned!
