I was a page plus customer and was very dissatisfied with the customer service and was paying more money for less service so I decided to come to straight talk. In order to do this I had to:
1. port my number
2. purchase another phone (samsung galaxy s3)
3. purchase a new sim card
4. have the sim card activated
well I did all of this on the 16th of May... and HAVE NOT HAD PROPER SERVICE SINCE. noone seems to know the correct combonation of values to put in my APN settings to get it to work consistantly. My 4 g comes and goes, and even if i have full 4g and 5 service bars my calls are dropped either after a few rings or 3 minutes. sending texts are hit and miss also. 4 g seems to work better at night for whatever reason, but is still flaky.... its to the point that my calls are automatically escalated to managers.... and they don't know anything eitther. I wasted an hour and a half with NO resolve... just the direct number to the management line....
