hello my name is chevy and i live in mt carmel il. i was wondering exactly what phones will work in my area. i live in a mostly verizon covered area. so if someone could point me to the phones i can use and get good reception it would be much appreciated. thanks

If you happen to get an "AT&T Compatible" SIM card, or a similar phone, coverage in downstate and Southern Illinois is generally quite good.
