I just got an LG 900g and discovered that the towers this phone uses are AT&T. I had an AT&T phone before but switched to Straight Talk because AT&T coverage SUCKS. So now I am stuck with a phone I can't use. Is there any way to switch this phone to pick up other towers?

Hi smalone79. My name is Straight Talk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. Straight Talk phones use AT&T or T-Mobile if your phone model ends with G (GSM), Verizon if it ends with C (CDMA). Please check this link for available phones;
http://tinyurl.com/24f79gr. If your phone is still under it's 30 days warranty, you can replace the phone at Walmart with a different model that will connect will a different tower aside from AT&T. I believe this answers your question. It's been a pleasure helping you. Have a good day.

I am using T-mobile at 85027 zip code. The signal is weak and I have to go out of the building for calling and receiving calls.
What Straight salk phone or SIM card

should I buy to get the best signal.

Hi VivekSoni. My name is Straight Talk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. We also provide service with AT&T in the area so if you have a good coverage with AT&T, you may purchase the AT&T SIM card. Thanks!

Hi Stephanie_ST
I still not clear how how this works, Consider this Scenario
I buy a ST Sim card online and fix it in my compatible phone. Then I transfer my T-mobile number to Straight talk.
Q1. Since AT&T and T-mobile are both providing services at 85027 Which signal will my cell catch?
Q2. Will my cell get services both from T-mobile or AT&T depending on the Strength of the signal or will it be tied to one Carrier?
thanks

Hi VivekSoni. The network on which the phone will be connected will vary on the type of SIM card that you will purchase. You will be able to choose either AT&T or T-Mobile compatible SIM card once you purchase that on the website. Thanks!

Stephanie_ST,
First Query:
From the following two SIM Card options which option should I be choosing,
1. Unlocked Phone (Phone must operate in 850 and 1900 MHz bands)
2. AT&T Compatible Phone
Will the SIM card be same for both the options?
Second Question:
If I choose an Android phone from Wal-mart Shelf will the services be provided by Verizon or some other provider?
My ZIP Code is 85027.

Hi VivekSoni. If you will pruchase an AT&T phone, then you will be assigned with an AT&T SIM card once your puchase a card online. Please be informed that Android CDMA phone from Verizon will n ot work with the said program. Thanks!
