Poor reception In certain areas with Samsung Galaxy s6

I'm having the same issue with my S6. I noticed it happening around the end of last year. I can't get more than 1 bar of 4G at home (which was never the case before) and I get 3G everywhere else which is rather unhelpful if I want to listen to music or use my GPS. This has never been a problem before. Why all of a sudden? Not to mention some people have mentioned that they have tried calling me and it either goes straight to voicemail or they get told that phone number is not in service. My service is on automatic payment so it hasn't been out of service for a very long time.
