Phone won't roam Need one that does

Do ST android phones roam for data and or LTE if they are preprogrammed on the Verizon network? My old ones don't. Do any? I'm Looking at Samasung Galaxy 5/6/7 models. Verizon towers are best for my home area because of topography/obstructions related to tower location.

However, I now need to buy a phone that WILL roam so I can get GOOD service at my house AND now also in non Verizon tower coverage areas I travel to regularly for work. I've always had and liked ST including customer service except for this non roaming issue which has now become critical for me.

Do ANY Straight Talk Android LTE phones roam? How do I know when buying which ones will?

I've been a ST customer forever, but other carriers are now price competitive, and this ST non-roaming problem might be a deal breaker because in the past when I tried calling customer service to decide pre purchase what phone model to buy ST won't guarantee/give straight answer what network(s) the phone they ship me will run off
