I made the mistake of activating the wrong SIM card (Verizon one) on an international GSM device and now it cannot get any signal so, I tried to activate it using another GSM compatible SIM but it won't let me cause I've already used my PIN to activate the first one. I find myself out of $55 with a non functional plan. But this doesn't end here, my dad got a $45 plan and tried to activate a GSM SIM with no success. He's got his PIN rejected with a warning message about compatibility.
