Phone Deactivated Prematurely

I am so livid right now. sometime yesterday my phone said" no service add airtime by 8/31/2016 or service ends" but like it says my service shouldn't end until 8/31 so why is this happening. I am looking for a job right now so I cannot afford for an employer to try to call me and my phone not be on. also, stupid phone won't even let me call straight talk directly from my phone!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!
