About two months ago, I bought an iPhone 5s through Straight Talk on the "Unlimited" plan. Up until last week, my data was working fine and everything was quick. Last week, however, I took a road trip to Branson, Missouri, and the farther away I got from home (I live around Minneapolis, Minnesota), the worse/slower the internet got. My internet while I was in Branson was awful, and most of the time, I couldn't get any internet usage at all unless it was with wifi. The service bar was almost always full, though, and it said either "LTE" or "3G" for the entire trip. All of my friends on larger providers got service just fine. Sending and receiving calls and texts were fine, and I could sometimes get a webpage to load. But anything else—especially picture-based apps such as Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, and even my email—was extremely slow/not working at all. I'm home now, but my data/internet is still significantly slower. It's better than it was, but it's still taking a lot longer to load pictures and even text, and my Spotify is taking forever to connect (it never took that long before). I'm well under my 3GB cap (about 1.1 GB right now), so it should not be throttled for any reason. This whole thing is extremely irritating, and if I'd have known that type of thing would happen on an "unlimited" high-speed data plan, I would've paid more for one of the more well-known carriers. Does anyone know how I can fix this, or if there's anything I can do? Thanks!
