New zip code

New zip code

I bought a different straight talk phone and tried switching my number over to it and was told that phone will not work for the zip code I entered for original phone but the phone I have now doesn't even work in my area. I get service about a mile from my house. Can I change the original zip code to another one that both phones could work fine and also work where I live?
