New phone=bad signal?!

New phone=bad signal?!

Postby jcushard » Tue Mar 04, 2014 2:32 pm

My old Straight Talk phone (not a smart phone) worked great in my area, but once i upgraded to the ZTE Majesty from Straight Talk, I barely get 1 bar on the signal meter. Is there anything that can be done about that? Thanks....

I bought the ZTE Savvy recently and my phone before was a Samsung Infuse that was GSM, and had no problem with signal but now i can barely get signal at my house and thats the only place i can send messages not even in Amarillo, Texas where i could send anything before.

I also am having this problem with my new Samsung Galaxy phone that I bought for $400 and switched to Straight Talk to have the smart phone. I had a LG $50 phone through Trac Fone and had better signal at my home and other places. I noticed that my old phone had New Cingular wireless PCS AT&T for carrier and new phone has Sprint Spectrum LP Sprint. Just about ready to switch plan now that some are offering great prices and actually putting my $400 phone to work. Not very happy about this.
