I have the exact same issue, down to my wife's identical phone/settings working while mine does not. Have spent hours and hours on the phone with ST technicians doing the same diagnostic procedures over and over without fixing the problem.

I have the Same problem. Two identical phones but one today cannot make outgoing call. All incoming calls go straight to VM. No problem sending or receiving TXT messages. No problem with LTE data. Over a year ago both phones started getting the You Are roaming when making an out going call. That time I was fortunate to actually get a real tech support person who was able to fix the problem on BOTH PHONES. Today I spent 5 hours with multiple technicians but NOBODY can fix the issue. The last step they wanted was to reset all settings and content which I did after backing it up. I set up the the new phone and did a restore from iCloud but after restarting my phone I got the same you are roaming I been a ST customer for 7 years but there tech support is a real problem. I guess I will have to switch to Verizon.

I have the identical issue. Can someone please help me? I spent 5 hours with ST Technical Support but to no avail.

I have begun to have the same issue (ST customer for over 10 years) and it is extremely frustrating as this is my only phone and I use it a lot. I was able to make calls after I took the battery and SIM card out, waited awhile, then put it all back together. But the next day, am still getting that message from American Roaming. Who the hell ARE these people?!? They seem like pirates and this has to be illegal. I don't think it's my phone or Straight Talk - I think this company's towers are intercepting my signal (and others') in hopes that we will pay them for something we are already paying for. I wish someone would resolve this issue. I am going to check with the FCC to see if they have anything on this.

OK, so I just filed a complaint with the FCC about American Roaming intercepting my calls. We'll see what happens - I'll be back with any info that will help us here.
