Bad Galaxy S3 signal reception

I'm having the same issue. Have had my s3 for almost a year now and have had great service and suddenly a few days ago I can't get anymore than 2 bars where I work or at home. Where I used to be able to make/receive calls and texts I now get zero service. What is happening?
