No service on new phone

Hello, I have a new Xiaomi Mi A1 that I have put my SIM into, and it will show up for a second as " Verizon 4g" and then disappear and say No service. My SIM is Straight Talk so I don't know why it says Verizon, and I don't know why it won't work. Are there APN settings I need? I really want to use my service on this phone and was assured it uses the same bands to operate ,but I can't get past the Verizon SIM message.... Can anyone help me? Thank you on advance.

That and without a warrant they can't ask for a password but they can have you apply your hand for some reason, unless that changed last time I read into that stuff.
