I bought my iphone 5 almost 5 months ago when the plan was first offered with straighttalk, it sounded like a great idea paying full price for the phone and then 45 a month for unlimited everything! it beats paying a contract bill. That was up until about a month ago when for some reason my internet was so slow it would hardly load the google homepage. I was so confused since it said i had all my bars filled and plenty of 3g service. So looking into the problem I find that straight talk actually limits data usage after so much data per month? I would have no problem with this if I was a person using it for hotspots but i don't use safari that much but I do listen to pandora and use my email which i refresh every 30 minutes because i use my email a lot. After learning about this high speed data limiting it makes me question why i would purchase a 600 dollar iphone if the service wont let me use it to its capability. I don't feel as if i use much data at all compared to others. What bothers me is that I spend 600 dollars on an apple product for unlimited everything and then not get my monies worth out of it. If i had known that my data would be slowed I would have gladly gotten a contract in which I paid maybe a few dollars for an iphone and got truely unlimited data. I have have straight talk for almost 5 years, well before it was straight talk i had trackphone and it was always so straight forward. I feel very misled and not i'm stuck with a slow iphone that I can't reactivate with another service provider. I wish I could say that I am upset with apple but its not the product.
