Android Coverage

We are thinking of getting our first smart phone. The Android coverage map shows very little coverage area. Does this mean all phone usage or certain features won't work in those areas?

Hi spike367. My name is StraightTalk Jhonally and I will be addressing your question. Phone models that end in "G" use either AT&T or T-mobile network while phone models end in "C" use Verizon network. Android phones use Sprint network, except for the ZTE Merit Z990G and Samsung Galaxy SII that use AT&T while the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, Samsung Galaxy Showcase and LG Optimus ZIP use Verizon network. Thank you

I suggest bring your own phone. They either use AT&T or Tmobile towers for coverage. By giving the Straight talk CS person your zip code, you can find out which network your sim card will work on. If your sim serial number begins with 89014, it will work on AT&T towers. Good luck!
