Nokia E71 no reception in home

I have owned the Nokia E71 for 6 or so months now and at first I got 4 bars in certain areas in my home and for the past 2 months I have had zero bars inside or outside my home?? Not sure why this is happening. My husband has a Samsung no issues whatsoever. Please someone help before I throw this phone in the lake!
