Phones that get AT&T signal and Verizon

I live in an area in Minnesota that has AT&T & Verizon towers mostly, does anyone know what phones get signals from which towers. I noticed that some people noted some phones work off of Sprint towers, but I don't live in an are with any Sprint towers so I want to make sure that the phone I get works either off of a AT&T tower or Verizon tower. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!
