LG Optimus Q changing time by itself?!

Hi lyndsaymartin76. My name is Straight Talk Charisse. Let me continue to help you. Have you tried to check under Menu> Settings> Date & Time, to set your own time and time zone? Please try to take the battery out of your phone for like 2 minutes. Afterwards, put the battery back in and check if there's an option to update your time. If not, please go to menu> Calendar> More> Settings> Use home time zone. Let me know what happens. Thanks.
