Sprint To ATT ?

I recently bought a Samsung Precedent with Sprint Service. It was supposed to work in my zip (43040) but I find that Sprint service in my area is very bad. I cant even use the phone in my house. I seem only to get service in select areas. I love the phone but not like not being able to use it at home. I also have a phone that is serviced by ATT and i get very good reception with it. Would it be possible to switch the Samsung to ATT service instead of Sprint. I know the phone dooesnt have a regular sim card in it like my older phone. Is it possible to switch carriers with this phone ?
