BYOP Samsung Galaxy S7 - Voicemail Notification issue!

So, I bought a used Samsung Galaxy S7 that used to be on the Sprint Network. It works fine (phone calls, texts, mms, data) EXCEPT for Voicemail.
I get a call, decline it (or don't answer quick enough), and the person leaves a Voicemail... EXCEPT, I don't get a notification. Literally, I decided to look at my Voicemails just for the heck of it, and there were over A HUNDRED in there because my phone failed to notify me that someone left one! Now I have to religiously check my Voicemail box after I don't take a call. It's getting quite tedious! I have factory reset my phone, thinking maybe I did something wrong, and it STILL DOES NOT NOTIFY ME. YES, before you ask, I have a Voicemail box set up with Straight Talk using my name as the answering machine! I've looked at all the possible settings to make sure notifications were on, and they are! I am getting really mad at this stupid phone.

I recently switched my Galaxy S7 from Verizon to Straight Talk and I have the same issue. No Voicemail notifications. I have called Straight talk many times. They have reset my service, made so my phone would not except calls, tried many different things but still no notifications. It seems like no one really knows what is wrong and they are just trying different things hoping it will fix it. Can someone please look into this and find a solution and then contact me??
