Hi robtonet. You'll need to use a USB cable to transfer the Mp3 file from a computer to your phone. Thanks.

simple, as it should be but reading and getting confused about it on youtube, that may (or not) be tricky.....one might guess that it would go to the ringtones folder??? correct ...or maybe not? thankshed

To use an .mp3 file as a ringtone:
Load the ringtone on the memory card.
Use the app "My Files" to view the .mp3 file.
Touch the .mp3 file.
Pop up menu: "Complete action using"
Choose "Sound player".
Touch phone's Menu key.
Pop up menu: "Set as"
Choose "Phone ringtone"
The .mp3 file is now in the phone's internal ringtone folder.

You may also open an email with the .mp3 as an attachment.
While viewing email, touch "Download" button.
Pop up menu: Complete action using"
Follow directions above.
