Load the ringtone on the memory card.
Use the app "My Files" to view the .mp3 file.
Touch the .mp3 file.
Pop up menu: "Complete action using"
Choose "Sound player".
Touch phone's Menu key.
Pop up menu: "Set as"
Choose "Phone ringtone"
The .mp3 file is now in the phone's internal ringtone folder.

You may also open an email with the .mp3 as an attachment.
