do not try to do any settings...this is the answer from ST

It also depends on the tower. We actually don't own all the towers. We only rent specific towers. Like for example, if we rent one tower that has 3G but there are lot of people using it, then it may interrupt the connection. It makes the data slow.

ST - Cherry

this is ridiculous, we pay unlimited and they give us nothing...

you are all victims of the Straight Talk throttle ...... you have exceeding the secret data useage limit and therefore Straight Talk has throttled your data speed.

Anyone know if it is possible to check how much data you have used? I have heard that there is a theoretical limit of 2GB of data usage before they throttle you. I'm just curious how one would know whether or not you are getting close to that limit.

Hi cb25. Though we offer unlimited browsing but not to the extent that customers can use their phone as a modem for their Laptops or Personal Computers. Video/Audio streaming is only supported through WiFi. Customers must understand that this kind of usage will have a great impact on the network and service level and may result into system issues. Please refer to Straight Talk’s Terms and Conditions paragraphs 6 and 7.
