I have had ST for more than a year... I used it with different phones (Nokia, iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S2, Skyrocket..) The internet was working fine, slow in some places but very good overall.
Lately (the past couple of month), the internet has been extremely SLOW .. I am not kidding, it really SUCKS.. it keeps disconnecting and it takes too long to load pages and even gives error messages (proxy authentication). I am not the only one experiencing the problem. My wife and couple of friends have been complaining too!! I am thinking about changing carriers and going over to Simple Mobile or T-Mobile Prepaid ...
I hope to hear from someone because I called customer service and did not get any help.

the speed of your internet connection is determined by your wireless provider and that is not ST. On my primary cell phone, my provider is AA&T. AT&T and T-mobile support the GSM World Standard for cell phones. I have not looked at standards lately, so there may be other providers that can if properly configured work worldwide. For me to reconfigure my phone form ST USA to ?????? in Togo Africa would require ST to provide me with the codes to unlock my phone, then removing the ST SIM and replacing it with a SIM from a provider in Togo Africa. I hope this helps you all.

Location makes the difference.. Can you use it elsewhere besides outside your home, such as at a store?
