Unlocking IPhone 6s

Unlocking IPhone 6s

Postby Valoradia » Thu Jul 30, 2020 1:47 am

I have a Straighttalk IPhone 6s. We have used it fir a couple years on straight talk. I wanted to switch carriers for better service. I live in very rural Kentucky now. I tried to get straight talk to unlock the igive a couple months ago. While I still had Service. But the website said that they couldn’t unlock my phone. I tried to call the number I couldn’t get through. I needed a new phone that worked while I was at work which is usually at marinas on the lake where we don’t have very good service. So I bought a new phone and activated it with AT&T. Now I need to use this phone that I have already with my AT&T service because I dropped phone in the lake and lost it. Now it is saying it won’t unlock my phone one of the reasons it says it because at 60 days is up or whatever. But I tried to unlock it before the 60 days was up!!! This is ridiculous!! And costing me money!! I tried to unlock the phone , and they wouldn’t. I guess I will contact the FCC. People everyday talking how straight talk uses excuses to not unlock phones!!

Hi Valoradia. My name is Straight Talk Mark. We're sorry for the trouble this has caused you. Our branded phones can be unlocked but you will have to request for it and be eligible for unlocking. The phone must have been activated on our service for no fewer than 12 months with service plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months. To obtain more information about our Unlocking Policy, please call 1-888-442-5102 or go to http://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/. Enter the serial number (IMEI/MEID DEC) or the phone number of the device that you want to unlock. They are open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 11:45 PM EST. You can also use our self-service menu by simply texting the word HELP to 611611. Thanks.
