Need custom APN and PRL info and supoort

Need custom APN and PRL info and supoort

Postby SirBenjamin » Mon Jan 13, 2014 10:04 pm

I have a Straight Talk branded Samsung Galaxy S3 (SCH-S960L, d2tfnspr). I have optionally chose to replace the Samsung software with CyanogenMod, a popular custom ROM. I am using the TracFone (Straight Talk) Sprint CM version. (The d2spr version with support for d2tfnspr) Calls and regular texts work perfectly. MMS usually works but can sometimes be a bit delayed but it working at the moment.
When I am set to CDMA/EvDo I have 3G connection which switches on instantaneously.
My actual issue that when I switch from CDMA/EvDo auto (CDMA/EvDo) to LTE/CDMA/EvDo (CDMA+LTE/EvDo) I loose all data connection.
I am in need of a working Straight Talk-Sprint APN which includes working LTE.
I have tried the Sprint n.ispsn APN both in LTE and EHRPD form. In addition I have tried the Straight Talk BYOP APNs. But of course, nothing fixed it.
Another possible solution is to update the PRL. (And Profile?) I called and asked for it pushed but that was no help since all they could do was explain how to do it from TouchWiz. I hear there is a feature code I can dial which will push it the phone.

In all I really need this fixed since I have already been trying for weeks.

All help is appreciated.

Thank you in advanced,
SirBenjamin

I've successfully fixed my issue. For a detailed explanation, instructions, and a download to the file I used see my thread on the XDA-Developers' forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2623751
