transfering another number?

Ok so I have been a ST member for over 2 years. And am thinking of getting another line. I currently have a VONAGE number for my house phone. Can this type of number be ported to ST? If so how long will the Downtime be? The reason I ask is alot of DRS and what not have my Home line number (VONAGE NUMBER) so I do not want to be down for to long before the number is live on ST.

voorhees_scott, you have to let your current service provider that you are transferring the phone number from your account so they can prepare it separating from your internet line. Then, you may try to ask them if you can already port the phone number Thanks!
