Lack of Customer Service

Lack of Customer Service

Postby steveh » Fri Nov 19, 2010 6:20 am

I am totally disgusted with my straight talk phone. I am on my fourth one since October 15th. Every time I have to trade the phone I get a different story for the person in customer service. I have been waiting over two hours today to get my number back working.

Agreed...ST customer service is crappy to be nice! I ordered a phone online on November 5, 2010 and have still not received it! I have called many, many times with a minimum call time of over one hour to have them give me a "ticket number", etc and say they will call me back. Last call was Friday and I was told they would have someone call me from USPS wh*I have already spoken with several times as well. Problem was USPS picked up a large pallet with 233 packages which were shrink wrapped. They accepted what ST "said" was on the pallet. Unfortunately, mine was not on it. Therefore, it should be ST's problem to correct; instead I keep getting these stupid ticket numbers, which don't mean anything because when you call back with one, you still have to repeat everything again and again. I did FINALLY get to speak with a supervisor wh*"seemed" to want to help on my second to last call wh*agreed it was time to fix the problem and refund my money, but again told me they would contact me within 48 hours and if not for me to call back and ask for a supervisor again, but you have to once again explain everything to the person wh*answers before explaining again to the supervisor. I finally gave up on getting the phone so I went to Walmart to get one and after wasting $271 online and another $200+ at Walmart, found out it worked off AT&T towers and had absolutely NO SERVICE! I wasted approximately $500 on a useless phone and ST won't even refund my money for a phone which was never even sent! I used to recommend ST to EVERYONE, but now that's kind of hard to do with a good conscience.

It's not straighttalk's fault that you didn't check to see if your area had service in your area.
