Service pin is invalid

My dad told me to help him set up his hotspot. My brother and sister in law bought a card and when I went to go activate his hotspot it kept saying "Error pin is invalid"

My father asked me to help him set up the hotspot he got from a friend and he ask my brother and sister in law to go get a service card and it keeps saying error pin is invalid. I need help please.
