iMessage not working on iPhone 5

Hi, I'm having the same problem on my iPhone 5 and my wife's iPhone 5. iMessage only seems to work on wifi but not over data. Has anyone found the solution for this? Can you help me resolve this?

Hi, my wife and I have been having the same problem on our ST accounts - we can send iMessage via WiFi, but not over the cellular network. Everything else works fine... I've tried installing a new profile from unlockit.co.nz (never needed one before), but that didn't help either. Please help. Thanks!

My entire household is having the same issue
we've tried the following
disabling imessage and re-enabling
disabling imessage, rebooting, and re-enabling
signing out and signing back in while doing both the above steps

this is happening on all phones across our family
