I have the same problem. i used to have At&t based straight talk sim card and yesterday i switched to t-mobile version. Since the porting, I cannot receive any text messages from any other carrier except Tmobile. I can call, receive calls, access data, but cannot receive text msgs.. I can send a text to myself and receive it, and also receive one from another tmobile customer.

There is a thread at Howardforums where other people are having similar issues.

I have contacted straighttalk through phone couple of times, they claim everything is fine and i need to contact tmobile. Tmobile wont touch it because its not their account.

Please Help
