Ultimate unlimted data at high-speed?

Totally agree with you ajax1776! I have the unlimited unlimited plan as well and they shut my internet completely off one time and then toggled it another. If is not unlimited as they say they need to just flat out say it, instead of unlimited but..... you only get so many gigs after that you will be downgraded to 3g! Shouldn't need fine print to read it.

Up until this month I have been super happy with straight talk. We went to the ultimate unlimited and we were super happy UNTIL all the sudden I have no freaking internet!! Someone better fix this like now!! I have recommended this company over and over and I love my new LG phone but I am super upset right now!!

I don't know how unlimited it actually is. I didn't use a lot of data until I got a newer phone. Transferred my service, kept my number etc. My newer phone has a nice big screen, good speaker so I use it to watch documentaries and stuff on YouTube.
I read somewhere that there is a hard cap of 60 gigs over a month, so I set a data limit of 50 on my phone just to be safe.
I'm halfway through the month, and I've used like 9.9 gigs with my expanded YouTube viewing.
I'm sorry to say my connection speed is now slow. It took me five minutes worth of reloading the forum before I could even write this.
As far as watching videos, forget it. They stop and start incessantly, making that impractical.
I guess 10 gigs is the practical limit, even though I paid extra so I could actually do online things more involved than text and emails.

I posted once before about this and it didn't show. For whatever reason, I run in to slow service. Slow enough that YouTube videos constantly stop.
This didn't happen at all with my brand new phone until my data usage on my unlimited plan hit somewhere around the 10 gig mark.
I read there's actually a 60 gig cap, which I have no issue with.
I do have an issue with slow speed when I am monitoring my data usage to stay well within bounds and not being a data hog.
If there is a lower number on your "unlimited" data plan, let me know what it is, so I can plan accordingly.
